Policy & Advocacy
Advocating for systemic change to protect children and strengthen families.
Lasting change requires more than direct services. Our policy team works to ensure that laws, regulations, and funding priorities reflect the needs of children and families in our community.
Our Advocacy Work
Legislative Advocacy
We track legislation at the state and federal level that impacts child welfare, education, and family services. Our team provides testimony, organizes constituent outreach, and builds coalitions around key policy priorities.
Local Policy Development
We work with local governments, school boards, and community organizations to develop and implement policies that protect children. This includes model policies for youth-serving organizations, background check protocols, and reporting procedures.
Research & Data
Good policy requires good data. We collect and analyze data from across our coalition to identify trends, measure outcomes, and make evidence-based policy recommendations.
